He may be at the point in his life where a good nap beats active fun, but this is a brand of comedy that will keep you laughing for ages.
Over the weekend, stand-up comedian and actor Tahir Moore delighted fans across the country with the announcement of his debut comedy special Aging Out.
Joining forces with comedy production company Comedy Dynamics, the special is directed by Charlie Fonville and Jack Vaughn, with Tahir himself both writing and starring in it. Ranging around 50 mins, Moore brings relentless energy and unfiltered honesty to the stage, ensuring that the performance is dynamic and unrestrained. Expect a mix of humdrum and absurd—everything from navigating a zombie apocalypse to the surprisingly complex world of fancy toilets, the menace of naps, and the day-to-day realities of aging. The tone combines self-deprecating humor with brutally honest observations.
It’s stand-up that’s “without chill,” full of heart and laughter.
Aging Out promises to be a stand-up special brimming with energy, unapologetic humor, and a sharp, heartfelt take on aging, pop culture, and everyday absurdities.
