In anticipation of the release of her latest comedy special Space Camp, stand-up comedian Liz Miele delights fans with a ten-minute SNEAK PEAK featuring new material that you can expect to keep you entertained with laughter for hours.

Liz often uses stories from her own life as material. That includes relationships, family, her pets (particularly cats), sometimes awkward situations. It’s likely Space Camp continues in that direction — weaving together moments from her life that are both mundane and weird. She tends to take observations that many experience but perhaps don’t vocalize, then push them into more absurd or hyperbolic versions. Think “what if this small annoyance was a cosmic-level thing,” or framing something small as if it’s a big deal.

The Space Camp title suggests maybe some metaphorical or humorous take on being “out there,” training, isolating, or being in uncomfortable situations akin to camp or outer space — but likely not literal.

She often reflects on her own flaws, insecurities, expectations vs reality, etc.

So expect humor about aging, feeling out of place, social quirks, possibly “why don’t I fit in,” etc.

Space Camp is currently available on PUNCHUP
