A comic known for bringing a musical element to his performances who has amassed 14.6 million followers across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, Jay is coming off the Hulu release of his sophomore special, Live at The Village. Some upcoming highlights of his Goofy Guy Tour — set to take place ahead of his spring run — include headlining The New York Comedy Festival, where he has sold over 14,000 tickets in the tri-state area the week of the festival, as well as the Dubai Comedy Festival, Nashville Comedy Festival and Still Standing Comedy Festival in Austin.
Jay has been on a meteoric rise since being named a New Face at Just For Laughs in 2023. Rising to fame on social media during the pandemic, he’s been working as a stand-up since dabbling with open mics while studying at NYU Tisch in 2007. Recently appearing on Apple’s Stick and NBC’s St. Denis Medical, Jay will next team with A24 and Cut To on an original series he’s creating as a starring vehicle for himself and will exec produce. Plot details are being kept under wraps, though we’re told that the project promises to dive deep into the world that shaped him.
Also recently seen starring in J. Pinder’s action-comedy Cotton Candy Bubble Gum, which premiered at SXSW, Jay’s next role in the feature side is opposite Chloë Grace Moretz and Anthony Ramos in Joey Power’s rom-com Love Language. The comic is repped by Brillstein Entertainment Partners, WME and Granderson Des Rochers.
