Comedy icon and actor Mike Epps stopped by Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club to catch up with hosts Charlamagne Tha God, DJ Envy, and Jess Hilarious, delivering an unfiltered and hilarious conversation about his upcoming We Them One’s Tour 2026, hit Netflix sitcom The Upshaws, and what fans can expect from the long-awaited Last Friday film.

Epps, known for his raw humor and classic roles in Next Friday and All About the Benjamins, opened up about taking the We Them One’s Tour to the next level in 2026, promising an even bigger lineup and more cities than ever before. “We bringing that real comedy energy back,” Epps said. “It’s me, my guys, and we’re giving the people what they’ve been missing — no filters, just laughs.”

During the interview, Epps also shared updates on the success of The Upshaws and its next season, giving love to co-stars Wanda Sykes and Kim Fields for keeping the series sharp and authentic. When asked about Last Friday, Epps revealed new insights into the long-debated project and his ongoing conversations with Ice Cube about making it happen.

In true Mike Epps fashion, the conversation took a turn toward the new wave of digital creators — including viral streamer Kai Cenat — where Epps praised the young entertainer for connecting with audiences in fresh ways. “The game done changed,” he admitted. “These young cats like Kai, they doing numbers, and I respect it. You gotta evolve with it or get left behind.”

Epps wrapped up the interview by reflecting on how comedy, streaming, and Hollywood have evolved, emphasizing his focus on ownership and creative control as he continues to build his empire.
