His ability to connect with audiences through humor rooted in real life made him a beloved figure in clubs, theaters, and comedy festivals. Jeff began his stand-up comedy career in 1991, performing in comedy clubs across Southern California. Jeff achieved widespread recognition as the voice of Sheen Estevez, first in the animated film Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius (2001), and later in the TV series The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius (2002–2006). He also voiced characters like Rinaldo in Happy Feet (2006) and roles in the Rio films.
