Nurse John, the comedian born John Dela Cruz, has announced an extension of his debut tour, The Short Staffed Tour, which will take him Around The World — or at least, across Europe and the UK.
Promoted by Live Nation, The Short Staffed Tour – Around The World kicks off at Globe Wien in Vienna, Austria on Tuesday, April 7, with stops in Berlin, Brussels, Oslo, Stockholm, Paris, Manchester, and more, before wrapping up at the National Stadium in Dublin, Ireland on Tuesday, April 28.
The move to extend the tour was a no-brainer, as Nurse John has moved over 200,000 tickets in the last year and a half, selling out more than 100+ shows across North America. Dela Cruz produced his debut tour alongside his manager, Logan Watkins, of Select Management Group.
Tickets for the newly added dates will be available starting Tuesday, December 9 at 10 a.m. local time with an artist presale. The general onsale begins Friday, November 12 at 10 a.m. local time at Nurse John’s website.

Nurse John is a nurse turned viral creator and comedian who blew up online with relatable portrayals of life working in healthcare. Remarkably, he’s one of several personalities who have managed to parlay their experiences in health care into a full-fledged touring business. Earlier this year, he made his international debut with two sold-out nights at London’s Royal Albert Hall, before extending to Australia and New Zealand, where every date sold out — totaling more than 80,000 tickets. Making over $1.3M this year on tour merch alone, he’s also recently seen at major festivals like Netflix Is a Joke, the New York Comedy Festival and Just for Laughs.
Nurse John currently hosts the podcast I Beg Your Pardon, serving as weekly therapy for all. He boasts over 12 million+ followers across social media platforms and has seen that digital footprint attract major partnerships and endorsements with brands including Instagram, Amazon, Fabletics, Western Union, NBC, and more.
