Comedian Taylor Tomlinson has inked a deal for another Netflix comedy specialProdigal Daughter, which will premiere on February 24.

The special is Tomlinson’s fourth for the streamer following Quarter-Life Crisis (2020), Look At You (2022), and Have It All (2024), the last of which debuted at #1 on Netflix. It’s described as a tight new hour about deconstructing your faith, processing religious trauma, exploring your sexuality, and confronting your fear of death.

Prodigal Daughter taped at Fountain Street Church in Grand Rapids, MI. In addition to performing and writing, Tomlinson directed the special and exec produced alongside Judi Marmel, Rachel Warden and John Bravakis. She’s the rare comic to have four specials at today’s premier destination for stand-up; the accomplishment is particularly notable given that she’s just 32 years old.

Tomlinson began performing quite young, building her audience through stand-up performances in churches and clubs as a teenager. This led to appearances on ConanThe Comedy Lineup on Netflix, and multiple network late-night spots before breaking out with her Netflix specials and national tours. She’s also distinguished herself from the pack in television with After Midnight, becoming the rare woman to host a network late-night show and the youngest host in the format by roughly two decades when the show aired from 2024-2025.

In 2023, Tomlinson headlined the seventh-highest-grossing comedy tour in the world, notably as the only woman to break into the Top 10.
