The upcoming comedy Driver’s Ed is revving its engine with the official trailer set to debut on May 15, 2026, offering audiences a first look at a wild, heartfelt road trip fueled by teenage desperation and questionable decision-making.
Starring Sam Nivola, Sophie Telegadis, and Mohana Krishnan, Driver’s Ed follows a group of teens who impulsively steal their driver’s education car and hit the road on a mission that quickly spirals out of control. At the center is a lovesick high school senior (Nivola) determined to track down his college-freshman girlfriend and win her back—no matter the consequences.
What begins as a romantic gesture turns into a chaotic, cross-town race against time, packed with detours, disasters, and unexpected self-discovery. Along the way, friendships are tested, truths come to light, and the reality of growing up hits harder than any driving exam.
