After nearly two decades in stand-up, Brian Bates is finally getting the respect he deserves—or at least a new driver’s license photo.
In his new comedy special Worried, Brian turns a lifetime of overthinking, awkward encounters and people-pleasing into a hilarious look at getting married and becoming a first-time father later in life.
From surviving dating apps and raising a four-year-old in his fifties to sleep apnea, potty-training emergencies, expensive dog therapy and the financial trauma of removing a tree, Brian proves there is no situation too ordinary to worry about.
Filmed at The Lab at Zanies in Nashville, Worried is an honest, relatable and sharply funny special about family, aging and trying desperately to make sure everyone still likes you.
