Stand-up comedy powerhouse Chris Distefano has signed with Creative Artists Agency (CAA) for representation, marking another significant milestone in the career of one of today’s most successful touring comedians.
A native New Yorker, Distefano first captured audiences as the breakout personality on MTV’s hit series Guy Code and Girl Code, quickly establishing himself as one of comedy’s most recognizable voices. Since then, he has transformed that early television success into one of stand-up’s most impressive careers, selling out theaters and arenas across North America while building a devoted fanbase through his stand-up, podcasts, and digital content.
Distefano reached a historic career high in 2023 when he became the first stand-up comedian to sell out both Radio City Music Hall and Madison Square Garden in New York City on consecutive nights, cementing his status as one of comedy’s premier live performers.
His latest comedy special, It’s Just Unfortunate, premiered in February 2025 as the fourth installment of Hulu’s acclaimed Hularious stand-up comedy series. The special followed the success of his self-released Netflix special Speshy Weshy and his 2019 Comedy Central special Size 38 Waist, both of which further showcased his energetic storytelling and relatable humor.
Beyond the stage, Distefano has cultivated a massive podcast audience through History Hyenas, alongside fellow comedian Yannis Pappas, and his hit solo podcast Chrissy Chaos, where his quick wit and candid conversations continue to attract millions of listeners and viewers.
The addition of CAA positions Distefano for continued growth across stand-up, television, film, digital media, and live entertainment as his career continues its upward trajectory.
Distefano will continue to be managed by James Dixon and represented legally by attorney Seth Horowitz.
