How did you discover your passion for comedy:
A night of drug induced monologuing.

What do you remember most about your first time performing stand-up comedy:
When the host/bar owner took one of my jokes about being a teenager seriously and almost kicked me out.

How would you describe your comedic style:
Earnest and grotesque <3

Describe your process for comedic writing:
Riffing with my bestie girlfriend Ezrah and then one of us saying, “write that down!”

How do you judge success in the world of comedy:
I think any form of comedy is just a really glaring sign of success deficiency. Kidding… it’s money.

Who are some of your comedic peers that you enjoy watching perform or inspire you personally and professionally:
Jasmine Rogers and Dan Alten. Some of the goofiest sets I’ve ever seen.

What’s been your most memorable moment in comedy:
Headlining my first show felt like a movie scene. Pardon me for being so earnest.

Describe building a career in stand-up comedy:
The only way that it has felt even remotely possible to work toward a career in stand-up was to find another person with a similar sense of humor and lifestyle to work closely with. Shouts out Ez.

If you could change one thing in the world of comedy, what would it be:
I want there to be way more dancing. And less advice.

A Yurt in a small town in Texas.
