Comedy Dynamics, the leading independent stand-up comedy production and distribution company, is thrilled to announce the re-release of the hit comedy specials Funny Women of a Certain Age, bringing back the iconic and unapologetic voices of trailblazing female comedians.
The shows will premiere in March during Women’s History Month.
Created by veteran comedian and producer Carole Montgomery, Funny Women of a Certain Age first premiered in 2019 on Showtime making history as the first stand-up comedy special featuring an all-female lineup over 50.
It was Showtime’s highest rated comedy special that year.
The groundbreaking special was followed by More Funny Women of a Certain Age and Even More Funny Women of a Certain Age, each starring a powerhouse cast of legendary comedians sharing their raw, hilarious, and unfiltered perspectives on life, aging, and everything in between.
The re-release by Comedy Dynamics will make all three specials widely available across multiple platforms, allowing audiences new and old to enjoy the sharp wit and humor of some of the funniest women in the business. Featuring performances from comedy greats including Caroline Rhea, Luenell, Fran Drescher, Marsha Warfield, Wendy Liebman, Julia Scotti, Leighann Lord, Tammy Pescatelli, Teri Hatcher, Monique Marvez and many more, these specials continue to resonate with audiences who appreciate bold, authentic, and side-splitting stand-up comedy.
