As The Second City celebrates year one in New York, enjoy a new revue, Sketch and the City, launching March 6, performed by The Second City New York Mainstage Company.
The latest show features a best-of collection of high-energy signature improv comedy alongside hilarious songs, classic characters, and vintage sketches – handpicked from our comedy archive, written by some of the funniest minds on the planet, and remixed by Brooklyn’s boldest comedic voices.
The sketches featured in Sketch and the City were co-written by several Second City alumni and their fellow ensemble members, including Stephen Colbert, Tim Robinson, and Steve Carrell.

The Second City New York Mainstage Company performing in Sketch and the City includes Ashley Blair, Ben Rameaka, Yazmin Ramos, Drew Reilly, Jordan Savusa and Jacklyn Uweh.
Catch both Sketch and the City and Swipes Right on Friday and Saturday nights. Tickets for Thursday performances will be available for $19.59 to celebrate the 65th anniversary of The Second City Chicago, which was founded in 1959.
