Veteran UFC color commentator Joe Rogan is also a successful podcast host and a comic. Rogan has an eye for comedy and his stand-up comedy fans consider him to be funny. In the recent episode #1838 of his podcast, the veteran color commentator revealed how he became obsessed with memes during the pandemic.

Rogan was talking to Brian Simpson, a fellow stand-up comedian when he revealed his obsession with memes. The podcast host said, “Through this pandemic, I’ve been obsessed with memes. I’ve been getting so many people send me funny memes. So many of these like text message chain, are funny memes.”

The veteran color commentator also spoke about the emergence of so many meme pages. He said, “So many good pages. Some of them are restricted, some of them are hard to find…It’s a new form of comedy, right? Images with funny text.”

Rogan began his career in comedy in August 1988 in the Boston area. After relocating to Los Angeles in 1994, he signed an exclusive developmental deal with Disney, and appeared as an actor on several television shows including NewsRadio. In 1997, he started working for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) as an interviewer and color commentator. Rogan released his first comedy special in 2000. From 2001 to 2006, he was the host of Fear Factor. In 2009, Rogan launched his podcast The Joe Rogan Experience. On May 19, 2020, Rogan announced that he had signed a multi-year licensing deal with Spotify, worth an estimated $100 million, making it one of the largest licensing agreements in the podcast business.

Joe Rogan is one busy man. From commentating UFC fights to stand-up comedy shows, Rogan does it all. Similarly, one of Rogan’s upcoming stand-up gigs is scheduled to take place right before UFC 278: Usman vs Edwards.

On Instagram, Rogan shared a post with his fans and followers. This post contained information and the ticket prices of his upcoming gig. The veteran color commentator wrote, “General on sale tickets are now available for August 19 in Salt Lake City tix at http://joerogan.com.” The prices of these tickets start from $49 and go up to $150.

According to his schedule, the podcast host will perform at Salt Lake City on August 19th, 2022, whereas UFC 278 takes place on August 2022. However, MMA fans do not need to worry as UFC 278 takes place in Salt Lake City too. Hence, the probability of Rogan commentating at UFC 278 is as usual.
