Feeling a little nostalgic, one of Latinx greatest comedic acts is returning to their first claim to fame with a new comedy special.
On Feburary 14th, 2005, Youtube was introduced to America and quickly became one of the most visited websites on the planet, creating thousands of viral stars in the process.
One of those stars was an ex-Oakland Raiders cheerleader turned stand-up comedian named Anjelah Johnson.
Anjelah gained mass viral appeal when she posted a comedy sketch video impersonating a Vietnamese nail salon employee on the website in the early 00s. That video would attract over 43 million views and lead to headlining her own comedy shows and a starring role on the sketch show MADtv.
16 years later, the San Jose, California native is set to return to the second-most visited websites in the world with her latest comedy special entitled Say I Won’t
Recorded in Nashville, Tennesse, Johnson would make the announcement on her social media pages, along with an official trailer release.
Anjelah Johnson-Reyes “Say I Won’t” Comedy Special is set to premiere on Youtube on May 14th.
