One of the most recognizable names in stand-up comedy is expanding its Southern California footprint as Improv Comedy Club prepares to celebrate the grand opening of its brand-new Corona Improv in October 2026.
The new club will be located at 2710 Lakeshore Drive, Suite 102, Corona, CA 92883, bringing another premier live comedy destination to the Inland Empire.
For more than half a century, the Improv name has been synonymous with live stand-up comedy, with its stages helping showcase generations of legendary performers including Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy, Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock, Adam Sandler, Jamie Foxx, Dave Chappelle and many more. Today, the Improv continues that tradition by presenting established stars alongside some of the most exciting emerging voices in comedy.
The arrival of the Corona Improv adds another major comedy destination to Southern California and gives Inland Empire audiences even greater access to nationally touring comedians without having to travel to Los Angeles, Orange County or other surrounding markets.
The club is already building an impressive opening lineup. Jesus Trejo is scheduled for October 1, followed by Gina Brillon October 2-4, Rex Navarrete October 8, The Next Wave Comedy with The Cass Man October 15 and Mark Viera October 16-17. Additional upcoming headliners include Preacher Lawson, Jay Jurden, Natasha Leggero, Gabriel Rutledge and Maddy Smith.
The expansion into Corona further strengthens the Improv’s presence throughout California, joining locations including Hollywood, Brea, Irvine, Ontario and San Jose as part of the comedy brand’s nationwide network of venues.
With a combination of nationally recognized headliners, rising comedians and special events already appearing on its calendar, Corona Improv is positioned to become an exciting new home for stand-up comedy in Riverside County and the greater Inland Empire.
