The Batting Cage Series is Don’t Tell Comedy’s 17th independent YouTube series that features stand-up comedy sets from the best of the next generation of stand-up comedians. During a recent appearance, comedian Joey Avery shares his hilarious thoughts on gender roles and sex talks.
Joey Avery: After starting his career in Cape Town, South Africa Joey Avery made a name for himself in the Bay Area comedy scene quickly earning recognition in the SF Chronicle as one of San Francisco’s Comics on the Rise. Avery followed that up by releasing a joint, debut comedy album entitled JUNIOR VARISTY. He frequently tours with Andrew Schulz, Mark Normand, Shane Gillis, and Trevor Wallace.
